Baked Homemade French Fries

Baked Homemade French Fries are definitely a favorite of mine! Potato anything, I am a fan of! haha
This recipe makes it super easy to achieve a delicious, crispy homemade, healthy fry! This has been a favorite recipe of ours for a few years now!
If you use a zip lock .. be sure to not shake to hard .. or else you will have a mess all over the floor! My mom and I made these a few years ago together … potatoes all over the floor! hahaha
Specifics
It is important to use a baking potato. If you use anything else (other than a sweet potato) you will not be able to achieve the proper texture you are going to want to get with french fries.
When cutting the potatoes – cut the potato in half. Then start cutting the one half into slices the long way. Then flip those to lay flat on the counter and cut into the shapes of fries! You can easily use a plain knife. I use a crinkle cut hand held chopper from pampered chef that makes it so easy!
Do not leave the fries marinating for any longer than a few minutes. If you do the olive oil will seep into the potatoes and you will have limp not crispy and oily tasting fries! Do not mix together till you are ready to start baking these and your oven is preheated and your pan is ready to go!
