This recipe changes the idea of salad with warming it up! I love it! So different! Trust me, sounds weird.. but I tried it .. and I was hooked! It’s crispy and cheesy!

This recipe has that illusion that it isn’t super healthy .. but it’s Romaine salad & it’s not loaded with fats, or sugars from a dressing! The cheese is what makes it that perfect in between! Living but still eating your veggies without over doing it!

Romaine is a good source of vitamins, and antioxidants!

I love that this recipe kicks it up a notch and can be fun for the kids to even assemble while you are prepping other things for dinner and just need a quick minute to keep them busy!

This Grilled Parmesean Romaine is quick, simple, different .. and most import, there is cheese involved! ha!

Cook Time 9 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Head of romaine
  • 1/3 cup & 2 Tbsp Shredded Parmesean
  • 2 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1/8 tsp Pepper
  • sprinke of salt

Instructions
 

  • Rinse & dry the Romaine. Cut Romaine head in half (pay attention to what sides lay flat the easiest before cutting). Dry with paper towl after cutting to get any excess off (just lightly dab the open romaine).
  • Sprinkle the Parmesean cheese on.
  • Sprinkle the pepper on.
  • Add a few dashes of salt.
  • Drizzle the Olive Oil all over the Romaine.
  • Grill/Bake at 450 for about 9 minutes.
